Job Description:
The Sales Team drives the business of GVW and with the assistance of the Sales Support team, also manages the external communication and marketing of the company’s message. The Sales Manager will be responsible to lead the Sales Support team by providing guidance, training and mentorship in its pre-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
  • Sales & Networking
    • Identifying and qualifying prospective customers through research, networking, events / conferences / trade show participation and organization and cold calling
    • Contacting potential clients to establish a rapport and arrange meetings within India – giving professional sales presentations during the meeting
    • Developing and managing the local and overseas GVW sales funnels for GVW’s markets and services using CRM
    • Providing timely services’ quotes to customers through proposals, as needed, and following up with contracts on proposal acceptance and finalization – ensuring deal closure
    • Handling existing client accounts and relationships - working closely with the existing clients and looking for cross selling opportunities to increase sales volume
    • Liaising between GVW and the customers for up-to-date pricing, services, and latest product-release launches
    • Planning for & renewing existing contracts before expiry

  • Marketing Activities
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives, proactively researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
    • Using sales management tools and relevant data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency

  • Strategic
    • Helping shape new business strategies (end-to-end) - participating in sales growth initiatives of the company
    • Preparing Sales / ad-hoc reports for management

  • Managerial
    1. Overseeing the Sales Support Team. Some of the team’s key responsibilities are, but not limited to:
    • Supporting the Sales Team in its marketing, sales and brand building activities
    • Conducting Research on Leads generated during Sales efforts or any other market research for New Service Development
    • Overseeing the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns in support of events attended by the Sales Managers and Managing Director
    • Generating ideas and creating perfect PowerPoint presentations
    2. Ensuring completion of sponsorship reports through coordination with technical and management teams

Key / Must Have Requirements:
  • Highly Preferred Life Science / Pharma Sales & Marketing Background
  • Should have closed deals with clients, created meaningful partnerships and / or alliances during his/her prior role in Business Development (preferably Sale of Services)
  • Strong Research and Deal Origination skills are a must with an Ability to handle end-to-end execution
  • Must be persistent, detail and process oriented for leads & closure of deals
  • Must be a great team player
  • Great Communication Skills
    • Should be able to grasp the crux of discussions and issues and propose relevant solutions
    • Excellent command over English (spoken and written)
    • Should be able to work closely with Technical Leaders to generate their thoughts / services in order to address potential client requirements

Other Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven Digital Marketing experience will be given preference

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with detailed knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Work towards the organization of a better Sales Support Team
  • Customer oriented, well organized with excellent time management skills
  • Excellent attitude with good conflict resolution skills

Education & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's (graduate) degree in Business Administration (MBA), sales, marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • B.Pharm or any Pharma qualifications will be an added advantage
  • At least 12-15 years of full-time experience in a relevant role

GVW is recruiting for a Sr. Analyst. This position will be based in Chennai. GVW focusses on enabling value chain across the Globe and we focus on making the lab analysts’ life easier by facilitating or carrying out most of the data relating to the labs. GVW focusses on the data and are tool agnostic.

Job Responsibilities:
For this position, the expectations are as below:
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in Pharmacy, Biotechnology with minimum 5-6 years of similar industry or outsource experience or a combination of both
  • Upload, Review and Approval of Master Data as per the project requirements in LIMS
  • Works and steers the team to meet desired Quality, planned Delivery and Risk Management
  • To participate proactively in execution of pilots or needs as required
  • Drafting, Authoring and Review / Approval of SOPs / WI as required
  • Drafting / delivering presentations as per the need of the project for the Customer / Management meetings on Quality, Volumes, Project Status aspects

Skills Preferred:
  • Previous experience with healthcare domain tools is an added advantage Knowledge in LIMS, LES, ELN applications and Laboratory methods would be a plus
  • Excellent Analytical skills, to lead by example
  • Knowledge of industry standards and Good Documentation practices will be good
  • Ability to produce high quality work under time critical and high-pressure situations
  • Should be agile, self-driven and capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Fluency with MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
