This assignment was done for the Supply chain team of a leading Pharma company. This team was looking to monitor Product performance in their value chain by analysing cycle time.
Our assignment
Global Value Web was contracted to extract, transform, analyze& visualize cycle time data using the available data input. Input data was to be mined from SAP transactions of receipts, Production, Release, and Goods issue of materials.
Results
GVW, in collaboration with the Customer’s Supply Chain team, created a model to estimate the cycle time taken for raw materials to be converted into Finished Goods. The model was integrated with an analytical tool to analyze and visualize cycle times.
- Using the cycle time insights, the supply chain was able to reduce cycle time and reduce inventory.
- Global Value Web Identified potential cycle time opportunities that may be addressable and allow for more efficiency in the supply chain.
